Peroxide Cold Gas Thruster

Peroxide cold gas thruster was a proof-of-concept method for achieving hydrogen peroxide decomposition for the hybrid thrusters. A 50% hydrogen peroxide solution was used with solid potassium permanganate, producing gaseous oxygen and steam (2 KMnO4 (aq) + 3 H2O2 (aq) → 3 O2 (g) + 2 MnO2 (s) + 2 KOH (aq) + 2 H2(l)).

Test firing was successful, with the prototype successfully completing two testing runs with minimal amounts of H2O2 leakage.
